★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Angsana is a wonderful teacher. Class was well worth it. Much better for learning than larger group schools in my opinion. Recipes were all delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went this week (April 2011) for 2 days and the food I learned to cook was delicious. Market trip followed by cooking at Angsana's house, very close to the market. Angsana is very friendly (and speaks fluent English), has all the recipes written up for you to take home afterwards, and the food really is delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I took a private Thai cooking lesson with this lovely lady. We called one day before to make a reservation and met the morning after at On Nut BTS station. After we decided what to cook we visited a local market (On Nut Market) to pick up ingredients and then headed to her house to start cooking. The session took 4 hours, and after we could enjoy our own cooked meals and take left-overs home. She emailed us the recipes of the meals we cooked. The lady lived in USA in the past and thus her English is great. The personal approach, great kitchen area and convenient location (close to BTS) made for a wonderful experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had other cookingclasses before, but this day at Angsanas house was the best experience ever! We learned and laughed a lot. If you take the morning term, you will start with a walk through a small market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is honestly one of the best cooking classes I've ever taken and it was the best thing that we did in Bangkok! By visiting the market with Angsana, we saw some of what life is like is for people living in Bangkok. Then we cooked for a few hours, and we made the best Thai food we've ever tasted. The private experience made it very hands on, and since we've made a lot of Thai food at home, it allowed us to not have to wait for other students in a typical cooking class. We'll never forget the experience, and Angsana was an incredible teacher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a private class to learn the Thai dishes we have come to enjoy and reached out to Angsana. She really took us from the basics and we more or less cooked each dish ourselves. She is an excellent teacher and the dishes really turned out very well and delicious! And they turned out very doable too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took cooking class with Angsana based on the reviews from people who have taken her class before. I am very pleased with the experience of learning to cook Thai dish the right way with Angsana. Not only did she teach me the right ingredients that goes into the dishes I chose , But she also taught me step by step how to cut, slice, pound, fry the ingredients which in the end will bring out the best flavor in the dishes I chose. Angsana is also very detail oriented in supervising your work, if your pounding is not granular enough she will ask you to keep pounding until it is perfectly refined, so that the aroma and flavor will come out when you fry them. I took up 2 sessions with Angsana, and among the dishes I chose were Tod Mun Pla, Tod Mun Kung, Pla sam Rod, Chicken with Basil, Cashew Chicken, Pad See euw, Grilled Beef....All were exceptionally high quality taste, high end fine dining restaurant material, especially the Pla Sam Rod , her 3 flavors fish stands out better than any other restaurants I have been to. I finish up 1 whole grouper fish we made together by myself !!!. Angsana is very generous in passing all her knowledge without reservations. If you are really serious about Thai cooking, and intend to deliver the best home cook meals for your family/friends I highly recommend taking Angsana class.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taking this class is an incredible way to spend an afternoon in Bangkok. There were so many dish options to choose from and my favorite entrees were on the list! The ingredients were super fresh, the kitchen and prep areas were very clean, and I was welcomed into Angsana's home as though I were a family member. More than just learning a recipe, you learn all aspects of the cooking process like how to properly slice the meat and vegetables for the dish, what each ingredient and sauce brings to the overall flavor, and how to slightly vary a recipe for your liking. I cannot wait to do this again! ! !
