★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I really enjoyed this class! I specifically chose it because of the competitive price point, afternoon start time, and market visit (most afternoon cooking classes in BKK don't offer a market visit, however after having gone, the market visit can be skipped -- I've lived in Asia long enough that it wasn't too interesting). The class itself was fun and everything was well-organized. Our teacher had two helpers that chopped *almost* everything, so all we had to do was cook! But even then, the helpers would jump in if you're not stirring correctly. It's good for people that want a fun experience, but not for people that seriously want to learn since they try to do everything for you (even the portioning).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. The description mentioned that customers would receive an email with recipe book in PDF format, but I never received it, despite contacting her and asking.
2. The description recommended not to take a taxi, but to take public transportation and walk. That day it had 36c/97F and was very humid. Walking from the Hotel to BTS Asok and then from BTS On Nut is a 20 minute walk and I struggled in the conditions. I physically could not reach the meeting place, was feeling unwell and disoriented. So I returned to the Hotel for safety. The host does not seem to care, show compassion and unwilling to work out a compromise like letting me join another time.
3. In the end, she took my money but I got nothing in return and she did not try to make it right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pimmy and he staff were very good about meeting the group needs. Exploring the market helps us understand her options. Interesting usage of supplies. Although fun, many of the items cannon be made at home because the supplies are not easily available. To get an understanding of the food choices you can see in Thailand, it’s a great way to know what’s in the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a cooking class with Pimmy in March 2016 and enjoyed it very much. When we got a message from Pimmy, she got cancelation for the afternoon class, we were afraid, she would cancel on us to, but instead we had a cooking class for only us TWO! How great. We went to the market, bought some stuff for the class and also for taking home and then started chopping, cooking, frying.... Pimmy and her help explained everything and were very patient with us. The food was awesome and because my friend couldn't eat it due to some stomach flue, Pimmy packed her food for us, so we could eat it the next day. Recipes are easy to understand. We are only worried, that we might not get all ingredients back at home...
Thanks again Pimmy for teaching us some lovely dishes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pimmy was a great instructor and the meals were delicious. Not sure if I’ll ever make these meals again once I’m home (it might be too much work to find all the ingredients needed) but this class certainly gave me a newfound appreciation for Thai food. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a half day activity in Bangkok and who loves cooking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pimmy is a great teacher. Cooking classes are a great way of learning about local culture. We were a group of 6 ppl from all around the world and we had fun cooking the Thai dishes. The ingredients provided are really fresh and an introduction to each ingredient is the best part. The cooking stations are really cool, the group sizes are kept small to ensure better understanding of the cooking styles. This is a must go to experience.
