★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Rain Tree Residence on 18-20 Nov 2020. It is a family friendly hotel with lots of activities for young children. They have a tour of its organic vegetables garden, trekking (we skipped), a big play room with puzzles, games, books, and toys.
My son enjoyed playing in the play room very much because we have the entire place to ourselves.
Because we stayed during the COVID-19 crisis, it was mostly empty (5% occupancy) and its one restaurant only provided very basic meals. If you prefer fancy meals, then you’ll need to drive to many nearby restaurants.
There are many near by restaurants such as PB Valley, GranMonte, Diary Home, Farm Chokchai, Cabbages and Condoms and many coffee shops.
As the owner is also the publisher of children books and stationery, each hotel room “gimmick” is based on the authors. We stayed in Wan Gaew “pen name” of HRH Sirindhorn and last year at Tom Wu.
I deducted one star due to lack of meal choices. Because we travel with a small toddler, he is fussy with his meals.

Best view for panorama room which all fit to your family's needs like a coffee maker, utensils, books, sofa, tv and components including microwave for cooking your small meal. No dinner available here but every corner will have something that associated with books or story from author. Anyway it has a nice bathroom, even no bathtubs but glass shower stall is good enough. Except unstable hot& cold water when taking a shower. Fresh air and perfect natural environment to take a breath. Lots of facilities and activities for children. Price is not expensive if you get a promotion from its campaign from tourist campaign event or direct booking is still okay. When your kids or any member in your family say I love this place, you couldn't agree more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best ever have in this price point (couple grand baht depends on promotion) Great place for family to relax chill very private and close to Thanarat road but not too close so it very quiet. There's everything swimming pool, gym, library and garden. There also have afternoon tea such a great place. But like said before there was very quiet so the foods and beverages have to prepare before but if don't there's have mini bar and snack for free but non-alcohol. Have great time here guarantee. Great service great place hope have chance to come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful and quiet hotel where you can fully relax. This place is very kid friendly with big library of books. There are books and novels in the room, in the lobby, in the hallway. Actually, there are books everywhere. A paradise for bookworms. Staffs is very nice and the facilities are well maintained. Oh! Did I mention they offer free afternoon tea as well.

There are hotel activities that you can book and join for free. Love the mini trailing in the morning around outside hotel

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is superb for family vacation. The location surrounds by forest with fresh air. The service and staffs are very kind and helpful. The room is cozy with very well-decorated with antique furniture s and arts. Plus, there are many activities like forest walk etc., And the "library" is can not miss, allowing you to borrow books to your room with free of charge. All of Harry Potter series are here waiting for you. The food is very good taste. Only complain is some slope in the area that may inconvenience for elderly.
