★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my first ride to this kind of river bus. It was exciting as well as charming. However its bit difficult for ladies to get on and get off the boat. It was very cheap compare to bike or taxi or even tuk tuk. I suggest if anyone knows the route it's the best commute to roam around in Thailand. At least you can avoid the traffic congestion.

The khlong express boat is a great and cheap way to get around Bangkok. it's a chance to get a glimpse if the real city but its not a tourist service and not much English is spoken. you will need to be ready to get on and off as soon as it stops. you pay after you are on board and i think the maximum cost is 19baht so dont pay with 500 or 1000 baht note as it will cause delays. Catch ferry here to Bobae Market and Wat Saket in one direction or Asok and Ramkhamhaeng in the other direction.
