★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good choice to stay in the heart of Ladphrao neighbourhood. Quiet residential area yet a 2 minute walk to the famous Chok Chai 4 road with every possible food offering 24 hours a day. Close to Tesco, 7-11 and motorcycle taxi are usually either outside the hotel or 2 minutes walk away.
The rooms are basic and nicely designed. Good value for the money. And good monthly rates. Clean, wifi, large TV (just upgraded with over 10 English channels). No English speaking staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel is little bit far away from MRT, so taxi or motorcycle taxi is recommended. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Room had television but only one English channel. Nearest 7/11 was about 700m away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An affordable hotel in a less touristic part of town. The room was specious, comfortable and clean but there was a slight moldy smell and an inconveniently tiny bathroom sink. This seems to be common in Bangkok so I don't want to single out this hotel. I still recommend it for a budget minded traveler.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's exactly what you would expect for a $15 hotel room, which is essentially a functional shower, a bed and a fridge. I was a little off-put by them requesting a cash deposit upon arrival that was essentially the same cost of the room. They refunded it when I left but I've never had another hotel in Thailand do that.
