★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu has received a Michelin star for its pad Thai and you will know why if you try. The noodles are perfectly sticky and flavorful. The crispy pork pad Thai is recommended, but you can also try the pork neck or classic pad Thai with tofu. Served over banana leaves, they also have a special recipe for their grilled chicken and grilled pork neck, both intricately flavored and served with a spicy red 'jeaw' sauce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the crispy pork and grilled pork pad Thai. The food was served quick and hot. The restaurant was clean. The pad Thai served with egg, shallot, tofu, meat and noodle. The tamarind sauce was good. A little sweet but I liked it. The flavors with everything was pretty good as the tamarind and lime melded together. So why 3 stars? Portions are small. To much sauce as the noodles were drowning. Also, I know this sounds picky, but one thing I don't like inconsistent cut shallot, onion, or any veggie. It just makes for a sloppy presentation and not edible when chunks are too big. So would I go back? Probably not as this Pad Thai did not blow my hair back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place held so much promise. Good reviews. Cool name. Nice pictures.
Unfortunately reality didn't live up to the expectations. The prices were high for Bangkok and the portions small. The cool factor of serving everything on banana leaves was erased by the portions. I honestly preferred the street food to this sit down restaurant.
However the food was tasty which shouldn't be a knock...it is the only think keeping this review in 3 star territory after all. The chicken supreme was lacking in flavor and was overwhelmed by the jus it was served with.
If you want to visit Bangkok's premier hipster pad Thai restaurant congrats; your search is over.
If you want the sweet spot on price vs quality then keeping on searching.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this place because my friends recommended me. However, the Pad Thai was nothing but ordinary. For me it was just plain bland with the smell if smokey pan. The noodle was cooked to perfection though, it was very stretchy and soft, the way I like it. Overall it’s not bad but it wasn’t good either. Price, service, ambience was okay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food. They cooked it fresh as soon as we arrived. We had the prawn pad Thai and the grilled chicken. Both were tasty, fresh, and full of flavour. An air-conditioned room on the second level is where you eat and overlooks the street below. Worth the visit and would eat here again
