★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible experience. please read carefully because it may help you avoid missing your flight.
In theory it looks to be the fastest way to get to the airport but in rush hours reality is quite different.
Around 6 PM I was at Makkasan which is too hot and humid however what that makes you sweat is not the temperature, it is the longest queue that you have probably seen in your life. The queue that seemed not moving at all. I could see many anxious passengers that had almost missed their flights. I was losing hope that station staff allowed me and some other passengers to go at the beginning of the line to avoid missing our flights (which is appreciated - nice Thai people). finally I could make it and reached the airport at around 8:15.
I don't blame the staff but the system is not efficient at rush hour at all. old and slow trains and narrow platforms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A complete disaster. Just look at the paving out side, every thing is uneven and buckled. In the building, it's many empty floors of confusing lack of direction. Wait for the train, and it's the same tempature as outside, and just as humid. Two stars, as once a year A Day magazine has a bicycle show here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and tidy airport link. You can connect to MRT from this station. However you need to walk through the walk way which is little far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks nice from outside, but disappointing when you reach the platform... hot, no fans! At rush hour, huge crowds...so you might not get on the first train that comes in -- DON'T take this train if you're rushing for a flight. Once you get on, again if rush hour, it's standing room only, smelly passengers & tourists, until Lat Krabang when you can get a seat for the short distance to airport. Fare of 35B is low, but it's not an express... takes 25min to airport, if you can squeeze into a train.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the largest airport rail link stations which connect to MRT via the connecting bridge. It has the escalators, elevator and stairs to go up to the platform. There are few shops that sell drinks and snacks inside the station. During the rush hours in the morning and evening are very crowded

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the main stations connecting Airport Rail Link and Subway (MRT) station. The walkway to the subway station is a bit far and *larger* signs should help visitors. The airport train arrives every 8-12 minites, but due to mismanaged train company, they have insufficient number of trains in service. If you travel during morning rush hours to the city or afternoon rush hours to the airport, sometimes the queue is very long, otherwise, it is reliable and inexpensive to use.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very open and spacious, feels like a Japanese strain station, have a air-conditioned lobby building (from the front and not the sides via MRT bridge). However there isn't a good ventilation of air at the tracks itself making waiting for the train hot and uncomfortable. Still does a good design for a main interchanging station however.
