★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asok station is really easy to find and navigate, and centrally-located. The people that work there are very helpful. Like most of the Bangkok stations in the centre of the city, Asok is modern and clean and makes travelling within the city a breeze.

Station so not directly connected and different system so you cannot use Rabbit card for a train going north. You should buy coin! Just couple of station to get to the nearby station for the market! Very energetic area and I saw some security guys! No problem! Enjoy!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is located just outside the Terminal 21 mall and you can enter the mall directly from the BTS station. You can interchange to MRT Blue line from here. Also it is one of the busiest stations which has many cafes and small shops.

If you don't know where to stay, stay in walking distance from this station.
It is connected to the subway (MRT sukhumvit station), to a big shopping mall and food court (Terminal 21), more or less to a nightlife area (soy cowboy and Nana /soi 11 is within walking distance), there is street food available and the BTS connection takes you everywhere fast on the sukhumvit line.
Also the area of the station is a nice walking way, especially towards Nana station. You will be surprised of all you will see. Very entertaining.
In my opinion, the Asok area is the best place to stay in Bangkok.
The new big benchakitti green park is only 10 minutes walk away also from this station. Worth a visit.
For advanced Bangkok visitors also the khlong boats are not far (public transport by boat).
To the Airport rail link there is no direct connection, however this station has an easy indirect connection to the airport rail link either via the sukhumvit line via BTS station Phaya Thai or via MRT station Makkasan. Both easily reachable from this Asok station.
Extra bonus for photographer fans. The skywalk from this station, gives an impressive view on the Bangkok traffic. Great for pictures or a time lapse creation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this Station so much, Terminal 21 is there, and skywalk which leads to my room in Soi 10, Coffee vending machines, lots of street shops, 7/11, Road view and mainly the interchange to Sukhumvit MRT is just behind the Asok BTS.
