★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing restaurant! The name says it all - it is cheaper, and better - the food is just unbelievable. Great options for vegans/vegetarians, friendly service, and a wonderful, authentic atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
P.S. The mango desert is a must. ?

a fried rice+ a grill squid+ a bottle of beer, just only bloody $9 AUD……..
i can go there every night !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievably good fried fish. Huge portion size! The tom yum and sum tom was good too. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. My girlfriend is vegetarian and he was able to make vegetarian equivalent dishes for her. This place really is CHEAPER & BETTER.

Currently traveling around the world and have so far stayed a month in Bangkok. CHEAPER&BETTER have become my go to place for anything from a quick lunch to after-workout dinners! It’s super affordable, decent food and a super friendly atmosphere! I’ve tried a variety of their dishes, both eating there and as takeaway to eat at my hotel close by! My absolute favorites are fried chicken with rice and their grilled fish! Their spring rolls and deep fried shrimps are also a killer. You can easily get a full belly for 50 baht, 70 baht if you want cola to go with your meal, and even the more expensive dishes will clock you in around 220 bath with cola included:)

The service was great, very friendly and caring but the food was not spectacular. Not that cheap compared to what we got. Waiting quite long for food to be served.
Good to try once but not keen to come back again.

The crispy pork is not good. It’s not actual crispy pork. Will leave you disappointed.
The grilled pork is very good, get the grilled pork instead. Delicious.
Mango sticky rice is one of the best you will taste. Must try.
