★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the ambiance of Zanzibar. Outdoor dining surrounded by tropical plants and trees, live band playing soft, popular music, good food at a fair price. Do not expect an extensive Thai menu, however. Zanzibar serves a few Thai dishes, but many more Italian dishes. My wife and I ordered two of the Thai selections: Pineapple Fried Rice and Shrimp Pad Thai. Both were delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food & live music. I cannot say the music was at the best. They have a nice ambience with open yet covered seating so the rain does not spoil it. Mostly crowded. Vegetarians can get few good options. They can make some veg dishes from the menu. The Nachos with cheese is really good. The staff is nice.

Since most of the bars in Soi 11 are full, we decided to have dinner and chill here instead. My personal favorites are lasagna and the cheese pizza! One thing I love about this place too is that most of the staff are Filipinos. Unfortunately, we went here the night before Buddha Day so we're only allowed to drink around before 10pm.
