★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 26th April 2019. AKA Wat Tham Khao Wong. Picturesque temple surrounded by limestone mountains and tropical jungle. Features a lake and walkways to the Temple set in the side of the mountain. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

It has afour-storey Thai-style descending sala, which blends in beautifully with limestone mountain in the distance. in front of the building there is a fish pond with a flower garden surrounding it. Beautiful garden and a nice wooden bridge crossing the little lake. Beautiful building.
Behind Wat Tham Khao Wong are seven or eight caves which are kept as a meditation area for monks.
It’s not the typical temple you would have in mind if you think about a Thai temple. It’s completely made of wood and a really beautiful building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a cave that you have to walk around half an hour to reach there. There is nothing much just a small area. I can't see the cave entrance when i arrive there. Thinking that you take a time for exercising for one hour. Please see the photos i took when i go there. For the photos of the temple, i think many people show them on review. I think it is good view when you see it from waterfront. However this is the place you should go when you go to Uthaithani. (I took lunch there which own by the temple.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice place. Do not forget to look around the whole area. There is plenty to see. There is a staircase on the left side of the temple right next to the building. It continues up along the mountain. A fantastic little trip really worth seeing.
