★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very quiet, spacious wat grounds next to the Chi River. Because of flooding the “bot”was built on the second floor of the foundation which adds to its uniqueness. Unfortunately this village “bot” is being neglected with the need of some repairs and fresh color on the exterior. Also no one sweeps the temple’s walkway so 1-2 centimeters of pigeon poop surrounds the outside temple building. The old bot has some beautiful hand carved wooden shutters with green mirror tiles embedded into the woodwork. A new chedi has just been completed on the grounds. The village has some interesting old wooden houses that farangs would like.
