★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This temple was built since King Rama the third. The temple was originally surronded by the iron fence that was imported from England. This was an alternative name by people living nearby as RuaLek or iron fence temple (วัดรั้วเหล็ก). The white pagoda contain the Buddha's relics. There is also a small museum nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Serenity at its finest was something I felt right upon arrival. I couldn’t take my eyes off of this magnificent pagoda which provided the surreal sight to the eye, especially during sunset. Apart from the elaborate garden, the restroom here kinda impressed me with the automated sliding doors and air-conditioners equipped

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wat Prayun sits on the western side of the Chao Praya river very near the base of the Memorial Bridge.
One of the 19th Century temple's prominent features is a large inverted-bell white chedi encircled by smaller ones. This chedi is visible from many nearby vantage points (including from the Chao Praya Sky Park walkway).
A great family-friendly part of the temple grounds is the Khao Mo replica of mountain temples. The 'mountain' sits in the center of a pond filled with turtles. It's a very peaceful location where visitors can feed the turtles and feel removed from the city that sits just outside the gates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the lesser known Temples of Bangkok on the western side of the river. Beautiful Pagoda with a circular outer ring you where you can walk the circumference. Just be advised the stones get very hot in the midday sun ??.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quiet monastery along the Chao Phraya River. There were hardly any visitors but this just adds to the seclusion of this place. The main hall is undergoing minor renovations when I visited but remains opened. There is a small museum containing relics and Buddha statues found in the stupa when it was undergoing renovation several years ago. Through the museum, you can climb up the stupa and explore inside the stupa. Highly recommended if you are into historical Buddhist artefacts found in the museum.
