Meaningful and famous temple for Buddhist in Thailand. Nice place and beautiful Thai-Buddhism art for the architecture and wall paint inside. Worth a visit if coming to this area.

The astonishing view of the temple in the midst of city, unfotunately it is under construction and would be completed by end of 2017.

Was told in the past this temple was very revered by the Thai-Chinese Community, then (many, many years ago) it was an arduous journey from BKK and yet many would make their way to visit this temple. We arrived during a Buddhist festival, and the atmosphere was superb! Definitely a must visit if one is in the area. Plenty of parking space, plenty of refreshment stalls, a great visit.

Nice old temple with lots of colours and nice ornaments. It's a famous temple which ocatuonally get visits from the Royal family. Its known for hold the footprints of Buddha which is displayed at the temple museum. There is also a market close by with drinks and ingredients for making food.

Up to the top of the hill is a cave with the Buddha statue...there is also chinese Buddha where visitors toss coins into the statue's navel. The huge spectacular spire was under renovation on new year days so impossible to take a clear view of it. The market in front is big and you can buy lot of souvenirs.

Magical fantastic place which has the feeling of a time machine which takes you back 1000 years. You can see here a footprint of Buddha. At the entrance there are monsters adorned in garlands of flowers. Lots of religious disciples coming from all over Thailand and also lots of tourists.

Nice temple to visit. The museum was closed but everything else was open. If your in the area you may also try the temple in the mountain about 20 min away.
