Pity to see some the buildings needing urgent maintenance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In 1939, a monk called Luang Phor Khom committed himself to transform a neglected approximately 260 acres rural land in Suphan Buri province, 89 kilometers from Bangkok, to a religious momentum and build tallest Buddha statue in the world.
In the next 50 years he managed to transform the place completely and build the largest bronze Buddha statue in the world,10 meters wide and 26 meters height.
In addition to recreation of Buddhist hell and heaven.
Besides the temple, also there is a symmetry and market selling fresh food, vegetables, fruits , fish and gifts.
The sites are open daily to the visitors from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.
Finally, I warn the people with young children that the area where the recreation of Buddhist hell and heaven isn't suitable for children because it has horrific sences .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge temple complex, with heaven on one side with lots of buddha statues, and hell on the other side with lots of death and torture. There are both Thai and Indian style architecture. Overall, a very impressive temple complex and one of the top places in Thailand for me. Set aside 2-3 hours for a visit.
