Very peaceful Buddhist temple right in the middle of bustling Bangkok. Within the grounds, meditating in the teaching hall it’s very easy to forget you’re in the middle of one of the busiest cities in the world. The temple grounds can be seen from the sky train. There is a well kept garden at the rear of the complex with many of the plants labeled in Thai and English for the botanically minded. Well worth the visit - especially early in the morning to give alms to the Sangha.

The beautiful & peaceful temple in a mid of center of Bangkok. This is a place which you can find relax, rest, and worthful architecture. Unbelievably, the temple located between Central World and Siam Paragon which are the most traffice shopping centers in Thailand. But once you walking into the temple, you can hand down all stress, messing outside. Please dress up politely and respect the place.

Buddhism temple in Bangkok. Very Calm place and good for meditation. It's located between two big shopping malls Siam Paragon and CentralWorld, and across the street of Siam Square. But there's a lot of Quiet.

beautiful and quite temple in between of central world and siam paragon. It is free of charge to visit this temple, Feel free to visit, pray or even meditate. when i visited the temple, there is one building under renovation. But the main building is still open for public, the inside is mesmerizing, u may feel the zen, nice place to pray or having meditation. The complex is very clean and everything is on proper way. You may find some monks in the building nearby the main entrance to give you blessing. Make sure to bring your offerings.

It’s very convenient to visit and pay respect to the Buddha and make merit to the monks or (thamboon), in any occasion. When you feel down with city life , just walk a little to this place , because Temple is between Siam Paragon and Central world. ??⛩? Don’t miss the Meditation hall , you need to walk to the end of the temple behind Wat path I’m School. Ask for directions. ???????‍♂️??‍♀️?‍♂️????‍♂️?‍♂️

Wow, what a place. I can't believe I missed this on many previous visits to Bangkok, but definitely gets 5 stars. It was founded by King Rama IV in 1857. Both of the Buddha statues in the Temple Hall and Sermon Hall were brought from Vientiane by King Rama III. Not only is this a beautiful Temple with lavishly decored buildings and mural paintings, it has a wonderfully tranquil tropical garden behind the main Temple buildings, in the middle of the site. If you close your eyes and listen to the bird song it's hard to believe you're right in the middle of Bangkok. There's quite a juxtaposition with the enormous shopping malls on either side overlooking the Temple and it's grounds. A visit here provides a great space for meditation away from the noise of the city. It looks like quite a large community of monks live here with accommodation towards the rear of the site.
