★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely no people here. (except for leaf rackers)
There's nothing spectacular about this cluster of ruins (Wat Pai/ Wat Si Thon/ Wat Tuk) but I enjoyed the solitude and the cows.
Unfortunately, The West Area of Sukhothai Historical Park closes at 4:30 pm.... supposedly (?) ..so you will want to do Wat Saphan Hin (Buddha on the Hilltop) first thing in the morning.... before it gets obscenely hot...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been there many times for photo opportunities, I was there around 12:00 it was hot. Absolutely no people here just maintenance people from the Sukhothai Historical Park authorities. Wat Pa Lan is located outside the western gate. It is about 100 meters from Wat Pa Mamuang and 350 meters from Wat Nong Pa Phong.
