★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple is in Sukothai, it is in ruins but has a beautiful white sitting Buddha image, on a raised platform. One can spend some time meditating there.

This small temple is located immediately to the north of the old San Luang Gate. It is relatively unremarkable apart from the seated Buddha image which is in a good position to catch the first rays of the rising sun. The image, fashioned in the familiar Maravijaya pose (subduing Mara) sits upon a rectangular viharn base measuring 7.5 x 11.5 m. Immediately to the west are the remains of three small chedi and an old well lined with slate.
