Been to Ayutthaya a few times but didn't come here and it doesn't show up in Google search.. Found the place to be empty and not many people know of it.

Large reclining Buddha statue. Quieter than most temples in the area

Beautiful space with huge Buddha just chilling there. Very interesting Buddha statue, usually they all are sitting, this one decided to lay down and rest a bit. Very special place, highly recommended to visit :)

Pay respects to the reclining Buddha and take a quick walk to see smaller temple ruins nearby... Nice off beaten path visit to avoid crowds, but limited in sights if you're looking for a big wow

Seeing the smiling face of this reclining Buddha, despite lying under the burning hot sun, it's like telling us why we should find joy & peace during the difficult times. Probably because of the hot weather, it could also due to this is a relatively less famous historical sites, there was no other visitors around. This place is relatively empty other than the statue and a tall chedi near by. Regardless, this place worth the visit - for the history and for its significance in Ayutthaya history.

Secluded - especially on the weekdays. But definitely worth a visit as the place itself is like a mini park. The quaint landscape is serene as you can wander and take breathtaking photos. It can be a little hot though.

I am Thai but my Japanese friend recommended me to come this place. I don’t know what we call this kind of Buddha in English. My friend said this is for relaxing Buddha haha yes it is. I visited that time there is a little cute tour guide girl. She is so adorable , she see her mother doing everyday. She will tell you how to respect the Buddha and see what is behind the Buddha.
