★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The photos definitely show the Temple off well, but I was expecting more, so left a little disappointed.
Many dogs, with puppies who do not look in best health, and the presence of the dogs inside the walls to the Temple do serve to keep the monkeys out. Vendors sell food for the monkeys, but keep a strong hold of the bag, or it will all be taken by one, and he will not share!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found totally by mistake, great fun feeding the monkeys the temple is a mix of ancient kmer and more modern thai buildings, surrounded by a large forest. Huge!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I doubt there is a minister of antiquities in Thailand or someone qualified in charge of this historical temple because it was a shame to see how this precious Khmer historical site was being neglected and how various “amateurs” in the past added a temple next to one of the structures and how valuable stone carvings were still thrown among the ancient carved blocks.The place has so much potential to become a major tourist attraction with proper care and information given to the viewers of its historical significance and what it once looked like. ( Removal of the stray, diseased dogs would help also.)
