A beautiful temple where you can respect many statues of King Rama V and his wife, Pra Nang Ruae Lom.

This is the site where the wife of Rama 5 died. Only for those who appreciate the love story.

“Wat Ku” , the very old temple, next to Chao-praya river. Nonthaburi , the sad story about the first queen of Rama V and her child.

Renown legendary temple with most developed facilities and within the temple, we will find the memorable shrine of King Rama V's wife who unfortunately ship capsized during her cruise passage over 100 years ago.

First steps you enter, it’s a serene atmosphere. Very calming with a “huge” sleeping Buddha on the left. After paying respects, this is like a large typical temple where I wasn’t expecting very much. The highlight is when you drive inside and find Queen Sunanda’s Palace (boat capsized, queen of King Rama V). Inside you will find portraits, altars and a mini wax museum of their family. Very colorful and nicely kept. Can’t help but express gratitude and a bit of sadness. Overall though, it’s a wonderful feeling - do read a bit of history before visiting. High recommended.

Serene ambiance and very well maintained temple near to Nonthaburi… have ample parking space might be crowded during festive seasons… worth visiting if you are in Bangkok or near by Nonthaburi…
