★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unlike other U hotels in Thailand this one is poorly managed and seem to not want any foreigners despite this hotel moonlighting as French. No greeting upon checkin which is considered very rude and we were ignored at the restaurant despite having only one other table.
Considering the price, we expect things to be good quality like other hotels in the area(we’ve now stayed at seven top hotels), however the food was noticeably poor quality. Normally in Thailand one finds fresh fruit but the fruit they served us was disgusting.
The worst part was the noise! They did absolutely NOTHING when we reported the loud karaoke party next door- in Khao Yai? It should be against the law! Staff did nothing- why? And the party went on all night. They could have warned us there was a special party or changed our rooms to the other side or called the police! Why come to Khao Yai and be disturbed by loud music all night and hear drunks screaming their heads off? This is precisely what kHao Yai should not be!
Our Thai friends who were also really shocked at the low standards and poor experience. Also maintenance seems really poor- in both our rooms the lovely carpets had stains- shame as decor is charming.
I give back one star for having very beautifully landscaped grounds!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible. Unfriendly staff who did not even greet us when we arrived. The hotel is completely empty yet they could not give us room at 6pm!!! There was also extremely loud music blasting from next door!!!
To make matters worse their restaurant staff were very rude and food was terrible- waited 20 mins for drinks with only 7 other guests in total!
Any managers working here or are they just hiring entry level staff from the street to save costs?
Shame as hotel has a lot of potential and other U hotels are excellent.

Perfect for relaxation.
They have everything, the pool, the spa, the gym, and the restaurant.
The atmosphere is relaxing. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just came from a place where I spent four times more and this was a better experience. The staff here is wonderful and the whole place has a really nice family atmosphere. Very good quality rooms, grounds and food. We will come back. Thank you!

I like breakfast where have many menu to selection but location so far and dark at night time which difficult to go outside the hotel and area of hotel is small so we can walk around in 10 minute. I would recommend for someone who find silent and clean place to rest near local lake. No need sighseeing or mountain view cause you can't find from this hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our very spacious and comfortable room is so awesome and comes with a lovely balcony that overlooks the lake. The whole place is soooo beautiful and therapautic (pictures got all my friends asking where) and perfect for families with kids!!! Love love love the Peter rabbit illustrations and cute animal statues all around. The pool is lovely there's sandpit for kids and a large garden to stroll in. Room rate is superb value for money considering the facilities, service and environment. I love this hotel so much that I can't say enough good things about it. I wished I had stayed longer and can't wait to go back and stay here again!
