★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful food, good service, comfortable surroundings.
Not cheap, but good value I'd you're looking for high quality fresh food and full portions.
My brunch was 523 baht and worth every satang.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my second visit to Toby’s Sala Daeng. The food, while pricey, tasted good with fresh ingredients and decent seasoning - as expected.
Service was generally OK, except for one particular staff (an older woman with short hair whose main task is serving and ruining the customers’ day).
It is unfortunate that due to this staff’s attitude and actions, what was supposed to be a pleasant, jibber-jabber brunch that my friends and I spent time & energy planning (and our hard-earned money on) quickly took a turn for the worst. We’re a bigger group, and naturally didn’t all arrive at the same time. The first to arrive was verbally attacked by this staff and not made to feel welcomed at all. While waiting for the rest of us to arrive, this particular staff gave demeaning glances as if to pressure to order even though it was clear we wanted to wait for everyone to arrive first.
Later on, another friend joined so we shuffled seats and squeezed closer as to not disturb other customers or take up more tables. Then this staff walked over and asked if we have another person joining, and we said “Yes, but there’s no need to add another table”. This staff was not having it. With a disrespectful and rather rude voice, she demands we move over because our shuffling and squeezing among ourselves would cause a ruckus for other customers. While we understand the sentiment of what she was trying to do, the way she went about it is clearly NOT how you expect to be treated even in a hole-in-the-wall eatery, let alone an upscale, city-center brunch establishment with a 10% service charge. For the amount of money we spent (receipt below) and to be looked down on and treated as if we were asking for free food, I for one, will not be returning until management deals with this ticking time bomb that could spell the end of customer experience at Toby’s Sala Daeng.
PS. We’re not a one-off case, at the same time we were in the store, another group of foreigners were being treated similarly and we could sense their irritation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and clean vibes. The food was good and the coffee was quite good. I only give this place a 3-star due to its weird policy.
I was a bit confused when they served my drink in a plastic cup although I ordered a dine-in. When asked, the staff told me that it's their policy to serve in a single-used plastic cup after 3 pm. I can inform them if I want the drink in a normal glass. (Shouldn't it be on the other way round though?)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place serving breakfast and brunch. If you want a quiet place to dine, then this is not the place. It is quite popular and crowded so you had to kind of yell when talking to your friend. The food tasted good with good ingredients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing breakfast in BKK. Parking lots are limit. Opposite building also provide parking (50b/hours). All dishes are great. Coffee and smoothies are top-notch. Varieties of ways to cook the eggs. Don’t miss the sourdough and cherizo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice food with good service. It's not so busy on Sunday afternoon, the food taste nice and looks super Instagrammable ?❤️. I ordered iced long black, the coffee taste a bit sour which is not my taste but not bad at all since it taste great together with the milk choc cake. I would come back here again for more food and bakery ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice breakfast and atmosphere. Love the zucchini salad with avocado. The rest is pretty much on par to any typical fancy brunch.
Cost per person is usually around $15-$20 a bit pricy, but still affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for breakfast and brunch. Quite busy on the weekend morning. Good for family and friends gatherings. Could be a bit too noisy. If you like a peaceful quiet morning, this might not be a place for you. But the service is very good. Staffs are attentive. If you park at the condo on the opposite side of the road, there will be 50THB charge per hour.
