★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to endure living next to this utter ghetto for the last year. It's a run-down block that's falling apart, with a constant stream of dodgy contractors conducting extremely noisy construction work on a permanently ongoing basis. The remedial work is done away from their main building and near to neighboring buildings to outsource as much misery to the local neighborhood as possible. The street is covered in dead rat and pigeon carcasses, this area is disgusting, very polluted, brutally noisy, and an absolute hell, imposed by the appallingly careless management of Thonglor Tower. Avoid soi 18 like the plague!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20+ years old condo block with over 700 units. It's big, airy with lots of space as you find it only in old condos when space and building wasn't expensive yet. The whole building always has a cool breeze going through with big airy corridors from ground floor to rooftop. It is solidly built by a Taiwanese architect with proper walls and floors, not like the newer fast & cheap houses. Massive pool and big common area, quite a lot of families and kids. Love it on weekend afternoons when families come together at the pool and playground and hell breaks loose. Lots of greenery at the pool and around the building. Despite the many units people know each other and living here has a charming family feel if you want it and like it. Good mix of Thai, Japanese, Taiwanese, Farang and various nationals.
