Simple, original back to life. The service is great & make you like home. Food is good, facility is limited but just enough to use.

What an absolutely fantastic place. The design, villas themselves, service, food, atmosphere...just perfect in my book on all counts. I have found my regular pit stop when driving from the coast to the farm.

I would like to think that the service Level is lousy because of the English proficiency of the staff, but I was wrong. The service Level is indeed lousy. When I said lousy, I mean the staff are NOT competent in their role. I paid SGD400+ per night and I got lousy service. Areas of dissatisfaction: 1. The villa places a Huawei phone in your room so that u can contact the lobby/front desk for ordering of food, services...etc. Most of the time, they don’t pick up and I had to walked 200m to the lobby when I was having fever. I had to do this for EVERY meal ordering! 2. The most proficient English speaker among the staff is the lady manager who is polite and she stations at the lobby when u arrived. I ordered 10 apples and 1 bunch of banana (knowing that I have to pay as she needs to get people to go market to buy). I told her at 11am. There was a staff (Peemai) beside her. The manager said I will get my fruits within 1 to 2 hours. My daughter was having a fever too and she wanted the fruits. At 3pm, no sign and news of anything and I walked 200m to the front desk and manager was nowhere to be found. I saw Peemai and asked where is my fruits. She said manager forgot. So manager will now go to market to buy and by 4.35pm, I then got my fruits. 3. We had some chocolate stain on the bed and we told the staff. Upon check up, they said their laundry Dept feedback that it cannot be washed away! Haha. Asked me to pay. I didn’t argue. They said THB600. Then manager said it isn’t a new sheet, so discount and charge me THB 400. When the bill is out, it is THB 300! Price keeps changing. I am unhappy not because it gets cheaper. I can afford! I already paid SGD800+, what is SGD4 (THB100)? I am unhappy because there is no consistency in what was communicated (THB600 to THB 400) and then charged me THB300. If want to charge me THB 300, discusses first then decide, don’t do price drop to delight me. 4. The website stated “heated outdoor pool”. What got heated was my family members. The pool was not heated. Told the Engineers and they told me 2 hours to get it warmed up. They discovered there was no gas tank so they replaced. Guess what? Upon check out, the pool was slightly warm! I told them since check-in and by day 3, then it got warm up and we were already on the way out. Paid so much for a cold pool. In life, we must explore. So I normally won’t go back to the same villa/hotel even if it is good. But when it is extremely bad, I will definitely not go back and will never recommend friends even if there is a million THB referral fees! Civilais Hill is one of such villas. The only plus point is: villa interior is nice and bathroom is unbelievably huge!! And air is good.
