★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The campus and the gardens of Thammasat will always surprise with their colours and beautiful flower arrangements.
There is a wide variety of things you can do here... wall climbing, there is a swimming pool, a skatepark...
There is a free bus you can take inside. You may find many canteens and food courts as well as restaurants and shops. Some places look just like being between jungle and modern city, thanks to the well designed buildings that blend with the green areas which are home to an abundancy of exotic birds and many other living beings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have just returned after the Bangkok Utd vs Ratchaburi Mitr Phol Chang FA Cup 2020 1/4 Final. First impressions was what a beautiful stadium.
Car parking was excellent, although the security guard directed us to the wrong car par park, meaning we had to run the gauntlet of Bangkok Utd fans to get to the Away scoreboard end,
Once inside, we saw the real Thammasat University Stadium - very grubby. Paint was peeling off the railings, and the seating was quite disgusting, as if you didn't want to sit on the dirty seats. Of course, the biggest disappointment is this stadium was never designed for football i.e. placing a football pitch in the middle looks like an accident, although the playing surface was excellent. I'd guess 70 to 100 yards to the first goal line, and the furthest goal line seemed miles away.
Facilities for visiting supporters was non-existent. You had to go back outside the stadium and hunt for food and water. Being a university stadium, sale of alcohol was not permitted.
First impressions were great, but reality was quite miserable.
