As most of things in Thailand, a lot of promises for a poor customer consideration.
You will get your visa, and plenty of apologises for the rest they cannot do. And that's it.
If you have another option, take it...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It looks impressive. This location, nice building, many people wandering around. You get the impression that they must provide a great service then. Only... When you look behind the scenes... The extorted money from long term visitors goes into building, management and sales commission. The service team doing the real work is currently two. Yes, two people doing the job of the plenty of services you get promised. So do not be surprised when you have to wait for days or never get an answer. It blows your mind to see they hire more staff, sales... but nothing comes out at the other end. All the funds end up... where actually? The whole operation looks like a ponzi scheme. Let's hope it is not. All indicators are there though.
My mind is officially blown.
Update: Having this visa for years now, I can just confirm how disappointing this setup is. You get a long term tourist visa for your money and that is it. Nothing more. Be aware of that and do what you think is best for you.

They have another visa who are 1000% better and 3x cheaper on horizon of 5 years, easier you don’t need to go at immigration every year someone do for you. And also every service are with * very funny about transport to airport. 1) you need to take international flight and not domestic. 2) if you have international flight at don muang they don’t pick you up because the condition are : suvarnabhumi + international flight ??? Thaï elite are just big business once you pay they don’t care about you, i can swear.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been nice having a 5 year visa, but the service from the team has been very poor. Most emails are ignored. Any type of challenging question is not addressed. In addition, if you stay for a year, you have to pay 1900 baht and go through the immigration extension process. Sure, the cost isn't much, but it's the principle. There has been no investment assistance. I constantly get emails with "deals" for elite members that are nothing but sales pitches, like the Anantara Elite member deal that was a high pressure timeshare sales pitch. If you need to stay for 5 years, the visa may do the trick, but don't expect much more. You're still being treated as an ATM.
