★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ticket fees 500 for foreigners. 0 fees for Thai citizens. Very hot weather. No shady place. Most of the buildings are closed. What is the points of giving fees for non-entry buildings. **** most important point free English tour inside****

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this place. The temple is a beautiful one. The paintings on the temple walls, the designs, the statues and the idol of Emerald Buddha were spectacular. If you are visiting Bangkok, do add this place to your bucket list.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It pains me to say this but unless this is the first temple that you see at the Grand Palace, it will quickly blend in with the dozens of other glittering, colorful buildings and pavilions. It is impressive, but not as impressive as the cathedrals of Europe, or the Islamic mosques that I have seen. You will have to be quiet and respectful inside as well as sit down. Guards will enforce the rules.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come to Thailand and visit one of the most amazing, beautiful and wonderful sites. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is a WONDERFUL visual treat for the entire family. The idea of hand crafting is surely on display. Get out and see the world ? it's still waiting for you ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Canadian Review:
500 THB to enter which makes it the most expensive temple to enter in Bangkok. However, you get access to Grand Palace, a free tour at 10:30am or 1pm, the Queen's museum, and the textile museum.
Is it iconic and very beautiful? Absolutely!
Is it mandatory to see it when you have equally beautiful and cheaper temples? Absolutely not!
If you like golden pagodas, and large structures, then it's a must see attraction.
Highly recommend, but not mandatory if on a budget!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were lucky enough to go to the grand palace and the temple of the Emerald Buddha, while Thailand is still empty due to covid restrictions and a slow restart tourism. It was absolutely incredible. There were probably less than 100 people on the entire premises during our visit. It is spectacular and well worth the visit even if the crowds were much denser. If you take the boat, finding entrances somewhat tricky so do your research.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on a hill with a beautiful location, you can overlook the coastal city of Pattaya. The temple was built with unique architecture and is very typical of Thai culture. Very beautiful and dignified. The tour guide shared about the culture and spiritual beliefs here. The pagoda stands out with a majestic large golden Buddha image. 2 dragons spit out a 7-headed snake. A spiritual place you should visit once!So beautiful!..
