★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The condo is nice enough and worth 4700 for 38 m2, furnished. Utilities are paid at cost. There is a key card door and 24-hr guard. The first floor has plenty of food and washing.
The area is extremely noisy at night. The North face of the building has several karaoke bar, sports bars, and beer bars. These often go until 01:00 on workdays.
Transportation in and out of Muang Thong is easy on the trucks which run for 8 baht. There is a 166 bus which goes down to Victory Monument, and if you ride the trucks to Cosmo, there is a van center in the second floor which goes to Rangsit, Morchit, VM, and other places.
Shopping is reasonable. Motorcycles or taxis can take you out to Tesco or Big C for about 40. If you take a truck to the MT entrance, Central is within walking distance. There is a fresh market within a few blocks of the condo. There is also a for market in the weekends at Cosmo.
Food is acceptable. Every condo in the area has a couple of Thai restaurants, so in total you get quite a few within one or two minutes' walk. Cosmo has a ton of food, too, and of course there are many upscale restaurants around Impact.
