★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a restaurant that not only served good food, wasn't far from where we were staying (Baan Luang Harn, please see my review), and provided an alfresco dining area. Sukunya Somtum was perfect!
You can dine indoors, but during these times, we feel safer to dine outside. It was a warm day, and after a 4 hour tour of the beautiful UNESCO Heritage sites, we were hungry and took seats outside. The waitress, who spoke English well, brought 2 electric fans out to cool us off.
We ordered Tom Yum Goong, Fried Papaya salad and shrimp Pad Thai. All were delicious, simple, but one of the best meals we had in Thailand during our one week trip (4 days in Bangkok)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ate a late lunch here. Asked for a fresh pressed orange juice, but it was clearly made from mandarin. We had french fries which tasted wierd - I believe it was because of the oil which was used. Furthermore they were not salted. None of us really liked our dishes - the taste was simply not on point.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a lovely restaurant, really tasty food and wonderful, friendly staff! 10/10 would recommend anyone to visit here.
The staff were welcoming, and friendly throughout. I left my ring here, and the staff went above and beyond to get it back to me, even meeting me at the restaurant when the restaurant was closed. That kind of service and grace you would not get everywhere! Really shows the nature of how wonderful Thai people are. Amazing, would return here! ❤️
