★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Building managers and personnel are not used having farang in the building. They are not particularly friendly but I can not blame them. Many farang will not treat Thai people with respect. So as long as you abide by their laws and rules there will be no problem at all.
I actually enjoy staying here with my (Thai) wife. The SiamLand building is kept clean and tidy on a daily basis according to Thai standards. 7/11 and cheap little shops with mostly friendly personnel around the corner.
Preferably no smoking on the balcony due to fire hazard. If you like to be around stuck-up, arrogant, disrespectful French people then I would suggest you’d stay at the HighTechTower in the building next to SiamLand.
