★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to travel to Udon Thani you must buy the tickets in advance. Unfortunately for Me when I showed up a day early to buy tickets the office was closed and they didn't pick up the phone when I called the number that was posted. When I did finally connect with the office they informed Me that the bus was full. No advice was given on any alternative ways to travel to Udon Thani from Srisaket.
I ended up taking a van to Surin and taking a bus to Khon Kean. From Khon Kean I got on another bus to Udon Thani. When I got to Udon I learned that I would have been better to travel to Ubon, and from there to Udon Thani.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here you'll get buses to Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang rai, ubon ratchatani, khon kean, roi ET, udon thani, surin and a few other surrounding areas. You might not be able to get a bus anywhere beyond 8pm except with nakhonchair but you need to make your booking a few days before your travel date.
Sisaket as a city is small and quiet.
