★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unhappy with the bait-and-switch tactics of this hospital. We called to check the price telling them it was a C19 antigen rapid test for an international flight, 350b was quoted which is 100b more than the one we were thinking to use, but this place was a lot closer.
When we arrived we were informed that as it was for an international flight and needed to in English it would be 150b more. We queried this and were given the strange answer that "more chemicals were required" for "more testing" than the Thai version needed. Unhappy with the explanation, but still needing the test we agreed to the additional cost.
We came back a few hours later and picked up the result, however it a) wasn't entirely in English and b) looked more like a receipt than a certificate. Again we questioned this and were told that they do "a hundred of these each day". After asking them we did at least get them to put a stamp on it - I really think this should be standard.
I'm now worried about my flight tomorrow thanks to this hospital.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ive seen a lot of great comments about this hospital in English and figured the staffs probably did a great job to foreigners but not for Thai. I went to this hospital twice. First for having diarrhea and second for having a pcr test. The first time the staffs were disrespectful to me and my partner. They were unprofessional in what they’re doing for example, saline drilling, they couldn’t do it right and it is to say “the most painful one I’ve ever had”. The second time with the pcr test, i asked them to do in English so I could use it for my flight abroad and in Thai in case it’s positive so I can use it for my insurance. Turned out they were mean to me for causing them a lot of work and not very cooperative. I’ve been to many private hospital around the country and usually get great treatment just not this one. Need a lot of improvement on staffs behavior training.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do not recommend this hospital. They use very old-school methods, some of which are already known to be ineffective and not in use in many other countries. The doctors (most of them are so sure of themselves that they won't really listen to you or examine you before giving their diagnosis) usually do not take more than a few minutes per patient, which alter the quality of their diagnosis. In my case, the diagnosis have always been wrong and I always had to go to another place to get the right cure. I had same type of experiences with both intern medicine, gynecologic and orthopedic departements.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A week ago I had two x-rays on my left foot, Dr. told me that I did not have a metatarsal fracture, but it seemed that there was an old injury, but that it was not a fracture. So he sent me to another Dr. and he told me that I had a fracture (it really made a little noise to me because how can it be that one cannot see the fracture and another can see the fracture clearly ... It is to doubt) Dr. was going to give me medicine for the pain and I told him that I did not need it, because I no longer have pain but he gave me the medicine anyway. The next day I went to claim but they did not return the money. Very disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have to agree with the positive comments about this hospital. Saw a specialist (twice) that does duty at some of the more famous for-profit hospitals too.
They don't seem to overcharge at Saint Louis like they do at some of those famous hospitals.
It's true that English is not as widely spoken by the staff, but they more than make up for it with their friendliness and willingness to help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The is an excellent nonprofit hospital in the Sathorn area. Many specialist doctors available and next to no waiting. I've been coming here for 20 years and they never overcharge or give excess medicine like many private hospitals. Can personally recommend the pediatricians (son was born here) and the cardiologists here. The is a good cafe in the ground floor, great foodcourt, clean toilets and an international desk if you don't speak Thai. Plenty of parking in the back and taxi stand in front. Great hospital overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to St Louis after a friend recommended in 2009. Ever since I have been going there, once every year for annual check up. They also maintain my records, which is great.
I am a foreigner and I must say I have nothing but gratitude and respect for the great service, which comes at 2/3 of the price of other private hospitals in the same category.
Absolutely recommended.
