★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I had an appointment for picking up a motorcycle license. I already had passed the test in Rattanaburi and was advised to go to Suwannapum in order to save time obtaining the license. The person at the entrance sent my Thai wife and I to counter 4. I showed the lady behind the counter my papers from the office in Rattanaburi and she told my wife in a very unfriendly manner that we would have to bring her a photocopy of my passport and some other paper from Immigration in Surin. When my wife asked her what kind of paper she was talking about, the lady became even more rude and raised her voice but did not give a definite answer.
We could not understand what she was demanding and we left in order to get a photocopy of my passport. We returned to the office and showed it to the same lady behind counter 4. I also showed her my original passport, my Thai ID and Yellow Book.
We just could not imagine what more she needed just for picking up a license since I already had proven to the license office in Rattanaburi that I was eligible to obtain one.
This time she looked over the papers but said that we would have to bring 2 photocopies of my passport; and she demanded a paper from immigration again not telling us in detail what she ment. She was yelling and very demeaning to my wife who only tried to understand what the rude lady was talking about.
We left and decided to get the license from the Rattanaburi office after all; even if it would take longer.
The lady behind counter 4 was totally out of line and behaved in an unprofessional and insulting manner. I will never go there again.
