The combination of ON RIVER HOUSE with all 24 hours sound of flowing water is just mesmerizing , Combine this with no Electricity , just only candles & stars “I leave this to your imagination “ .. i didnt think that i like But i ended up falling in Love with the experience , really a reset from the madness we are living in big cities ..
The only reason i gave 4.5 stars is because breakfast wasnt good , Though dinner was a beautiful thai meal , WORTH TO TRY GUYS

The location is superb and the boat ride is fantastic. The scene is phenomenal along the greeneries and the Kwai Noi stream.
It was quite hot during daytime but got cooler at night after midnight. We recommend to bring some chargeable fans as they do not provide any electricity.
The food was ok as provided by local.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great experience right in the jungle. Very natural places and nice pick up by boat at Phutakien pier.
Reason why I don't give 5 starts is for the food being poor for the price you pay (few options very basic, bread was old).
The elephant you see in the morning free is for the whole day kept in chains inside the small village 500m away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A floating hotel at River Kwai with no electricity next to the traditional Mon Village. Very natural. The two days detox without internet and electricity has been pretty relaxing. The hammocks are comfy as well.
Important to know: there are no window glasses and if you're afraid of spiders you might have a problem?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The boat taxi to the raft was amazing and funny. The concept is really nice - rooms are clean, staff is nice too. Only cold water, no electricity in the rooms, only a lamp. Everything around was amazing for me. You can book some additional tours like "adventure park" for some money. Every morning comes an elephant to eat some fruits from the Restaurant. The breakfast was ok. Dinner/lunch was ok but not a very good taste. I would recommend this place! You can explore some areas near to the resort (walk by your own to the village) or take a boat to some places which are not to reach by your own.

The rooms are basic but clean and there is no electricity but it all adds to the wonderful atmosphere. With the lamps lit at night it gives the place a wonderful ambience.
No electricity means no fans, air conditioning or hot water. So if you can't survive without the above or WiFi then this is not the place for you.
If you're looking for escapism then this ticks all the boxes plus more.
The food was tasty and plentiful and they were very accommodating with my vegan diet.
Stayed for 3 days, would definitely return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is just unique, the mountains, the sound of the river, the environment in general makes it perfect. There's no electricity and internet signal is low, that was a good thing for me. Staff was always polite, respectful and helped us.
Also, good news for vegans, you can give them a call and they'll have everything catered for you with really good vegan food. I'd definitely come back. 100% recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing experience! Rooms connected on a large raft right on the river. We were lucky to come on a night when they performed local people dance show. In the morning an elephant was bathing near us and we were able to feed it. I would recommend 2 nights here if you can- just to enjoy the slow life on the river! No electricity in the rooms but you can charge your devices at the front desk. Food is delicious!
