★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an awful hotel. Rooms are old and in need of repair. Chipping paint on doors and rust areas on bathtub. Would not dare take a bath in this tub. The construction noise is unbelievable and I can't hear well at all. The TV has channels 2 to 8 and they are all thai. No English or other languages. No world news or entertainment
The staff are thai so they are nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel staff were very helpful and always polite and attentive. I thought the hotel as a whole was incredibly clean. The hotel location is pretty convenient. For a short term stay it is good value. I will stay in the same hotel next time during my visit of Bangkok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great. It's new and majestic. They have a lot of bars in the basement with pool tables. The pool players downstairs are really good. They beat me many times. This is very conveniently located next to The Mexican restaurant, which is arguably the best Mexican restaurant in Thailand. It's also kind of close to the sky train.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice, clean and secure hotel right in the middle of the noisy adult playground. However, the rooms are cozy and quiet at a reasonable price. Book online, the prices are less than what’s charged at the front desk. Don’t bother with paying the extra charge for breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tempted to give 4 stars based on the wonderful service alone, but the living conditions place it at a solid 3.
The location itself is 5 stars. Very close to many restaurants and the BTS sky train. The service also was outstanding for a hotel of this price.
The living conditions were somewhat underwhelming, but clean. I would hope you don't spend the majority of your time in any hotel while traveling, so I was able to overlook the very firm bed and older facilities.
I wouldn't go as far as saying the rooms are run down, but at this rate in a few years they'll need a renovation.
For the price, you would be hard pressed to find a better overall option. For that reason, if you are in Bangkok for a few days as jumping off point, I'd recommend it.

Rooms are clean and pretty quiet and was renovated in 2017.
Good value for what you get in this location.
Updated dec2019:
Staff is really great too. I forgot to check out when I was going to the airport, and they still came out with the 500b deposit while I was waiting for my taxi. All nice and friendly!

Only one suggestion to put more breakfast varieties to choose like Pancakes, waffles, different juices, cheese. I would surely consider to visit again. I would rate this as 4 star hotel not 3. Thankyou once again
