We took a 2-hr evening return boat trip to the famous Kanchanaburi bridge.
Breakfast is ready at 7:00 am; egg, sausages, bacons, salads, Japanese corner, fruits etc. I tried Gooseberry for the first time at breakfast, it was so refreshing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extraordinary service. Extremely clean. Has a small gym . Nice pool. Comfy beds. fast WiFi. Cold AC. River view. I only got one of the workers name her name was Bee and she was very helpful also during my check in process. Would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite its old school look, Plakarn is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Kanchanaburi. (I stayed for 2 nights)
The service is exceptional and their room decoration is top-notch equipped with Nescafe coffee maker and pods.
Their location is very near the city center yet secluded and quite quiet to take some rest and enjoy your slow life. The hotel is also near famous café like the Attic and tourist attraction like Kanchanaburi's giant tree.
Moreover, their restaurant in the log home, the food is sooo goooddd, dont miss it if you're there.
All in all, a very great experience. Also their is a room where the owner (i think) collects all his artifacts including the 70's pinball machine and juxebox and they're still functional! Impressive!

Clear. Nicely decoration. Friendly function in room.
?️ Bed and pillows are super comfy. Nice sleep. In the middle there might be a noise from the bridge near by by not much.
????? Breakfast is nice and cute. Like the congee with the japanese style set.
?️? Hotel has a cruising activity add on charge.
? Car parking available.
My parents had such a great time.
