★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are 3 different areas within the National Park. On the 2019 between Chaiyaphum and Nong Bua Daeng at the top of the hill is a park with some lovely walks, and great views down over the plateau. Only 30 baht entrance fee for foreigners too, unusual! We saw an Asian jackal when we went, stunning.
The 2nd area comprises of Mor Hin Khao - some unusual 'white' sandstone formations that are well worth a (free) visit. Very photogenic, and are often used as a backdrop for pre-wedding photos by couples. You can also camp here and see the sunrise, as you can further up at Pha Hua Nak. This is basically an escarpment that has the most stunning sunsets over the mountains on the opposite side of the wide valley. Otherwise it's just a car park, coffee and souvenir shop, but the sunsets make the 100 baht entry fee a bargain.
