It was really fun and tough. However, once you be there, you will forget everything. The sunset is so magnificent also, the sunrises. Time to be alone here without burden. I will definitely come here again.

I will give tha maximum stars...I really loved this place . So enjoyed and it will be the best trip in my life . As a foreigner i was not knowing much about this place, what to do , how to get here and all . But i got many thai friends through out the trekking ways , everyone was so helpful and so kindly welcoming people. And I appreciate thai tourism department to providing such a great amenities here . The tend is ready here , if you brings a tent with you you can use it with 20 baht ground fee , if you don’t just rent a tent with 200 baht . And rent mattress, pillow, sleeping bag with cheap price . The foreigners have to pay 400 entrance fee when thai people pay 40 . But its worth I’m guarantee. Approximately expenses from bangkok has given below . Bangkok to Pha Nok Khao = B 450 Pha nok khao to national park = 50 (local truck) Entrance fee foreigners = 400 Insurance = 20 Tent = 225 one tent max three people (please book tent before trekking, and tent will be ready once you reach there Mattresses = 20 Pillow =20 Sleeping bag= 30 Totals expenses = 1800 excluding food and water. Water and food are available at mountain top with affordable price . On the top of mountain there have 30 KM radius place with multiple tourists destinations, that we can go by walking or rent a mountain bicycle ?, its cost around 400 for one full day . I prefer to rent a big tyre bicycle , coz the roads are too sandy and it can ride without trouble.

You need to plan ahead if you intend to visit here. Make sure you have the right equipment and supplies. Also you need to be fairly fit. The route is not particularly technical, but it is long! On my most recent visit the journey up was standard, but descending was extremely painful on my knees, so perhaps I am too old for adventures like this anymore. There are a few places to get food and drinks, and you can hire bikes and get some supplies at the top (which is fairly flat). Most tourists you'll meet will be Thai, especially if you go when the colleges and universities are closed. Expect plenty of acoustic guitars and singing at night. It also gets quite cold at night, so be prepared for that. Well worth a visit.

We spent about 6 hours climbing up and 3 hours climbing down. Recommend you to hire serfs, at the rate about 30 THB per kilograms of luggage. For a person who regularly exercises it should be easy. It's so worth it at the summit!

If you ever use their porter service, please give them tip. They can't make the trail easier but they'll make it possible for you to reach the summit. It's a romantic place for me. The cliffs are more interesting than the waterfalls. It's my first time hiking alone and I feel safe, everyone's friendly and helpful. But be very careful with wild elephants and other animals.

The best one-day trek in Thailand! The combination of tough, fun, trekking-buddies and atmosphere. I went with my mother who 55 years old quit fit but never done any trekking. Anyway, she did it and not too tough for her. The trek distance was about 5 kilometers and to walk to the camp was about 3 kilometers. I love it and will definitely be back again.

Well maintained and equipped national park with many beautiful scenery and attractions. They offer pretty much everything you need from restaurants, water, tents to bike rental. Recommend staying 2 nights and starting early to avoid the heat. The climb is interesting with various terrains. We finished the hike up in 2.5 hours.
