★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do some work here with the Foreign Police assisting any foreigners who get into difficulties and have helped 100's of tourists who have experienced robberies, lost something, forgot what hotel they stay at, overstays etc etc.... so we do have a difficult time some days. But having read some of the reviews, i can guarantee that it is not just foreigners that get stopped on motorbikes and fined, there are many Thais who also come in and pay a fine for having no licence, no helmet and other traffic offences. The reason it seems that it is mainly foreigners, is that they think they can ride around with no valid driving licence, or who ignore the law.

They try everything to get your money They put pressure on you and try to scare you to force you to pay fines and dont even give you receipt. Please Always ask for a receipt. Even if you do it they deduct your fine on the receipt and put it as tip on the receipt. Try to stay away from these robbers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My self and 75 other people ripped off by a registered realestate agent and they have done nothing about it when I went it to make a police report I was told to try catch her my self then call police to come and sort it out, I gave them her thai licence so they had all her details and contact details but did not want to do anything to help. then told by another officer to forget about the money accept I that was scammed and to go back home no help what so ever and it was as if they did not even care that 22000 baht was taken from me definitely never go back to Pattaya as a tourist I did not feel safe or protected by police..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just next to Hilton & Central festival. They often don’t do any raids at this location but Thai people knows how to escape or police just let them go cause they can’t catch them but tourists gets caught out of nothing. Whether or not any offence, you’ll be billed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Police of Thailand is so corrupted! Fines issued for tourists only. You might get fined for not wearing mask outside 2000 BATH , not wearing helmet 500 BAHT. Amount of fines are random. First they tell you 1000 BAHT but then decide to let you go after paying 500 BAHT. Police officers don’t even speak English and unable to explain procedures or what the fine is even for.
