Great place to take a rest of noisy Bangkok. This retreat is hidden in a back street right opposite a soapy massage somewhere up north in Bangkok. People come and go just got the furniture store if you believe the taxis bringing mostly Chinese tourists straight to the front door. Inside is just a huge space, stretching over three floors of old furniture and household items. It propelled me back to my birth decade - the 90s. Worth a visit!

HUGE antique and curio shop. You could spend hours here because there’s a ton of quality merchandise, from furniture & dishes, to clothing, records and textiles. I’m easily coming back here again.

As expected this is a very expensive place to buy items, but it is fascinating to go visit. The coffee shop was not open when we were there but it had a lovely atmosphere. There were several studios which I believe are for people who go there to do some sort of photo shoot.

A giant vintage house, the biggest, in South East Asia. There are a wide range of vintage items to be selected. It is really huge so it is better to have a time to explore and navigate the selections. The place is in small street but it is not that hard to find. Highly recommened to come if you are vintage lover.

I waited a couple weeks writing this review as I had a double feeling about it. Yes, all the stories told about the mysterious things you can discover here, and all the tales about endless dwindling lanes of unexpected treasure are true but... Before I go into the but, this place has a banner, that although it looked pretty old, says they are moving to another place. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and will visit the new place and see if they can recreate the splendor of the 'old' place. I say 'old' as currently everything is at its last legs. Not just the items, the venue, the organization but even the surroundings are not very pleasant. There are hardly any facilities and even visiting on a winter day, it was very dusty and hot inside. There were some fans placed but those were mostly used by us to pause for a couple minutes and get our breath. Yes, there is still a lot to see but the quality of it all is below par as it is presented now. Hope to see the new place opening up soon! Photo's posted separately two weeks ago during visit.

The warehouse has some interesting vintage / retro items but the quality and range of antiques (items more than 100 years old) and fine art is extremely poor in comparison to what is available in abundance in Europe. Also, the prices at Papaya are very, very expensive. For example, many of the oil paintings would be a fraction of the cost in the UK. I understand that supply and demand is an issue, and there are not many antiques and retro goods in Southeast Asia, but fair pricing in the current age of eBay and online sales is very important. It takes a minute to see what something is worth and selling for online. For all of the reasons listed above, I would never buy anything from Papaya. But it is an interesting collection and curation of goods to view and perhaps a good shop for people who don't mind to overpay for something that's rare.

A Nice vintage shop with plenty of options depending on item quality and prices, some item are really cool and others for collectors, mostly it's very interesting place to visit you might find something you really appreciated or love to put in you house or flat or villa, if wish to buy and ship international to your country they have this option with extra cost.
