★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an intern at Our Land, I learned more than anything else not to simply travel down the beaten path. The first thing that really struck me about this whole experience was when I heard Vijo saying that it doesn’t matter what you’re doing, even if you’re helping others, if you’re not happy doing what you do, you’re better off not doing it. I had never really heard that being a valid option and it really shifted my mindset to hear that from someone like Vijo who had initially been on a similar path to the one that I expected to take. I hope to take this lesson and everything else I’ve learned this summer with me throughout the rest of my career and life!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After working as an intern at OurLand, it made me think about how I want to live my life. Not only about how I can live it more sustainably, but also how I can live it more meaningfully. It made me realise that while leaving the corporate world to live a life that can be qualified as nonconformist is terrifying, it is possible and definitely worth it. It also made me appreciate how much work and efforts are put into nature conservation projects, and it makes me want to commit to a cause that is important to me wholeheartedly and for selfless reasons, just like Vijo did.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently worked as an intern for OurLand and it has given me a whole new perspective on my priorities in life. After getting to see the happiness and meaningfulness in the life of Vijo and the people around him it really made me refocus my aspirations and question whether a standard city 9-5 is right for me. Also seeing a normal guy like Vijo making a dramatic impact in the world, taught me not to underestimate what each of us is capable of. It’s not like he had millions to get this project rolling he was just a guy with a goal and he made it happen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful day at Our Land, we visited for the Serpentine Rescue Centre and had an amazing experience learning about all kinds of different wild snakes, including sunbeam, reticulated pythons, rat snakes, monocled cobras, vine, golden snake snake and others! We especially enjoyed meeting Vijo's per snake, Kay, who was a super friendly and cuddly ball python. I was so impressed with nature reserve and how much we learnt in one day because if Viji's expertise and knowledge. I would hugely recommend for everyone to visit this lovely conservation space and get back to nature. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I recently spent an absolutely amazing weekend at OurLand with the founder Vijo and his staff! We were given a tour of his wonderful conservation project, which aims to create a safe corridor for animals to access the river from the nearby wildlife reserve. Vijo was happy to show us around and explain the various projects they are doing to create an environmentally sustainable project.
One of the most impressive features is his attached Serpentine Snake Rescue where we spent the majority of the day learning about snakes, their behaviour and how to safely interact with them, it was a truly incredible experience! We were even able to help in the release in a variety of snakes including reticulated pythons and a monocled cobra.
I would recommend to anyone and I plan to visit again myself!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing experience we had at Our land. From floating down the river , to trekking into the forest followed by a little campfire and petting the snakes. Thank you Vijjo for making the start of 2022 so special for our whole group. Definitly a must for anyone planning to visit kanchanaburi anytime.
