★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Next2 is the restaurant at the riverside inside Shangri-la hotel. They serve Buffet... all you can eat.. seasonal themed. From sea food, international food, Indian Thai or Isaan food there is something for everyone.
For me it's enough already to work my way through the starters and move from there I continued right to the desserts.
It was a bit sad that we choose the Buddhist Lent day. There was no alcohol for sale and a cheese platter without a nice glass of wine is sad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The buffet is what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Food for every possible taste. American, European, Asian of all kinds. The fresh fruits were first class, so were many of the dishes. Where the cafe fails was on some of the easier things like good coffee and sometimes service. Having said that, the restaurant was operating at full capacity. Avoid the crowds and make the most of what's on offer by going early, then you can enjoy the food and the amazing views of the river.
