★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In spite of a well intentioned make-over (think IKEA literally), the staff are surly if they even deign to acknowledge you. Quite transient residents, non-existent security. And forget about getting your deposit back. You will have to fight for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big clean room with big balcony big windows. Lots of spce. BAD internet, very slow for bangkok this hotel should be upto date with internet. Evening front desk person doesn't speak English, No 24hrs front desk person. 1000bat deposit for key, and its a card.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in a studio room in New APG Apartment for 10 days. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. The mattress was very large but rather firm. The couch and sitting area was perfect. And the balcony was long with a great view to the north and south.
I'm only giving four stars because I think it's a bit pricey. Although you do get a lot for it, I think it's equivalent to an Airbnb type thing that someone started before airbnb was around. But for the price of the studio at New APG, you could get an equally nice but probably nicer and totally private apartment on Airbnb.
The women who run the place are friendly and helpful. It is an actual apartment with residents- young professionals, university students, and a handful of farang. There is a small convenience store right next to the apartment that is open all night and they make and sell Thai snack food there as well sometimes.
It's near a busy stretch of Thanon Din Daeng as it approaches Rama 9, but I recommend taking a detour through the sois to the North of the apartment where there are an abundance of garment and textile shops, as well as the numerous stores and street food places that serve the industrious local community.
The Apartment building is tucked on a small soi and is not an easy place for Grab drivers to find haha. However, the MRT, Fortune Town, G tower, and all the rest of the shopping and markets up Ratchadapisek are conveniently close, as is Sukhumvit and the Skytrain even

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upon check in you'll be asked for a 1000baht deposit and to fill in a few boxes of a one page form (name, phone number, etc). The room is quite spacious and the view is great. Nice comfortable couch and new flat screen tv with cable.
The bed is firm yet still comfortable and the air conditioner is very cold and is somewhat difficult to adjust. The bathroom and shower are fairly modern, hot water and all. They provide 2 bottles of water, a fridge, kettle, 2 sachets of coffee and 2 cups as well as a small bottle of shampoo and liquid soap.
overall I would absolutely recommend this place, its only 10 minutes walk from Phra Ram 9 MRT station, great views and very affordable price. The only downside is that theres not many places to eat within a 5 minute walk, you have to walk at least 10 minutes for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This apartment looks very good and beautiful from the outside. Inside you can see that the rooms have been renovated but the airconditioners are so old. This will use more electricity. The location is also far from public transportation so if you have your own ride then it's okay
