โรงเรียนศึกษาสงเคราะห์นางรอง จัดตั้งขึ้นตามประกาศของกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ เมื่อวันที่ 1 กรกฎาคม 2512 ตามโครงการที่ 208 ตั้งอยู่ที่ 125 หมู่ที่ 3 ตำบลนางรอง อำเภอนางรอง จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ รับนักเรียนในเขตการศึกษา 11 คือ บุรีรัมย์ นครราชสีมา สุรินทร์ ศรีสะเกษ และชัยภูมิ ปัจจุบันรับนักเรียนจาก 3 จังหวัด คือ บุรีรัมย์ นครราชสีมา และชัยภูมิ .. สถานที่ตั้ง โรงเรียนศึกษาสงเคราะห์นางรอง ตั้งอยู่บนพื้นที่ที่มีลักษณะเป็นที่ราบสูงแวดล้อมไปด้วยป่าไม้เบญจพรรณและชลประทาน ซึ่งชาวบ้านเรียกพื้นที่นี้ว่าโคกลอย และอยู่ห่างจากที่ว่าการอำเภอนางรองไปทางทิศเหนือประมาณ 4000 เมตร ห่างจากจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ประมาณ 54 กิโลเมตร มีพื้นที่ ทั้งหมด 417 ไร่ 、。。
