This place has a beautiful waterfall with shallow water. if the weather is nice you can take a short hike or a long hike it depending on your pleasure. The sounds of the water, nature, and absence of city life are very calming so plan to stay for a little while. Tourists are charged a bit more the locals, so be prepared to pay a small fee upon entrance.

Namtok Pha Charoen National Park (Thai: อุทยานแห่งชาติน้ำตกพาเจริญ) is a national park in the Phop Phra District, Tak Province, Thailand. Most of its area is high complex mountains of 1,765 m elevation and features a mixed deciduous forest and a coniferous forest. Namtok Pha Charoen National Park is west of Tak town. The park's area is 855 square kilometres (330 sq mi) (534,375 rai). As the area of the national park is affected by the southwestern monsoon, its weather is cool and can be divided into three seasons: summer (March–May), when the weather is not extremely hot because of the altitude and breezy condition of the area; the rainy season (June–October), when there are heavy and continuous rains throughout; and winter (November–February) when the weather is not much cold with the lowest temperature of 6 °C. Rainfall in the park is between 1,500-2,000 mm per year. The area has many deciduous trees, pine forest and curcuma (Siam tulip), which is a flower with big bright orange coloured petals. It blooms during July to October every year at the natural park office area. Wild animals found in the national park include gaur, deer, Muntiacus Muntjak, birds, Indochinese tigers, wild boars, red junglefowls, pheasants, snakes, porcupines, masked palm civets, gibbons, monkeys, mouse deer, and wolves.

Great waterfall to climb. Nice pools to swim in near the top. Very very busy and somewhat crowded at the bottom picnic area.

A nice spot for some relaxation, a swim, and a bite to eat, approximately 50 km south of Mae Sot on route # 1090. Arrive early (8.00 - 9.00 am) to beat the crowds and the heat. Best just after the end of the rainy season (November) while there's plenty of water still flowing. Climb up to the higher levels for an invigorating swim.

It's off the beaten track, long drive from CM. I did a "loop" drive, pretty farms, older houses. Friendly folks along the way. The waterfall is rather small, not much water AND it's been raining A LOT. You can Walk up the falls

One of the beutiful waterfall of Mae sot. During July-August, tourist can enjoy the blooming of "orenge ginger or กระเจียวส้ม". The area is clean and well organize facilities. Nearby tourist could also visit blue cave & Pathom Phet rose garden.
