★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even though I was little hesitant over going for custom-made tailoring, but my wife successfully convinced me to give it a try, and then we headed to Marty’s New Fashion in the city, where I placed an order for a suit in black, yes I love black and so do my wife. It was readied in no time, still the finishing as well as fit was great.

They make sure that you feel comfortable enough to tell all about your likes and exactly what you’re looking for. I just like what I got there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My thoughts when I entered Marty's was just to inform myself cause I only stood three days in Bangkok and never expected that it's possible that they could make me a suite within that time. But except my expectation, they said they could do it. So within my three days stay in Bangkok they managed to make me two suites and I had two appointments where they tried how it will fit and on the third I was able to take them with me. The suites are amazing and way better than every suite I had before. Half a year ago I was at a german dressmaker to make me two suites and Marty's work is way better and cheeper than half the price of my german ones! Small details like an additional piece of textile added under the armpits to protect agains sweat and a rubber in the trowser helping that a shirt doesn't get out of the trowser are some of the positives I never saw before in a suite. I will definitely order more at Marty's cause they also offer to send them to Germany. Again I would definitely recommend this to everyone I know when visiting Thailand!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in here as partner was having shoes made next door. There was a large ginger american in the back who told me (paraphrasing) that I'd "come to the right place" and "the only reason he still does business in Bangkok is to pick up another Marty's suit". Well if he was a shill he was a damn good one. Took a chance on a tailored suit at a very reasonable price.
Fabric is absolutely incredible, fit is the best I've had. Couldn't recommend higher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From my hotel JW Marriott to Marty's New Fashion, I had passed by at least 30+ taylor shops. It was never intended to visit Marty's, but most shops out there are NOT sincere and honest. Once I walked in Marty's and met Steve, the Owner, I truly feel his honesty and sincere. Originally, I brought 5 existing pants for just shortened up the length, but after Steve gave me the quote for the 5 pants, I trusted him so much and ended up with 2 new and high quality suits. Steve, thank you very much for the wonderful suits!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wasn’t a fan at all. I am sure you will find a better shop if you just walk a bit longer on the street. First of all, very unfriendly, the old owner was so unfriendly, I felt so unwelcome. Second, bad work for the price. I wanted a custom-made dress and blouse. The dress has bad stitching. The blouse has lousy material, it’s not stiff at all (despite I wanted that) and has thousands of creases when you move. I expect more if I pay 6,000 THB, was in my opinion too much for what I got.
Btw if you just want some trousers shortened, just keep your eyes open for a person on the street or local shop with sewing machines, they will do one trousers for 100 THB in 30 minutes.
