★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great location. Just right behind the Ordination Hall at Wat Bang Chak. Large parking lot available -can use the temple's car park (Baht 20) or the restaurant's (free). The place is quite large, there are at least 2 ponds from what I've seen. Had lunch sat at the largest of those 2 ponds. While the sun was out and the weather quite hot, the dining place was not hot. Not only do they use fans but also there seems to be a permanent breeze that cools down the surroundings. Location is great. Food is also. Great with very affordable prices. I will go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ventured to a cafe up the road which we found was closed. Consulted Google maps and found the Mango 88 Cafe. Arrived to find a large car park and the cafe/restaurant is large also. Main area of seating is between 2 ponds with private seating for families under colored tents. We sat down and ordered coffee, an iced palm juice drink, some noodles and a spicy fried pork dish. Coffee was ok, sweet drink nice and the food was delicious. Overall a very nice experience. Come here if you want a nice peaceful and relaxed time. There's ample seating everywhere so getting a table wouldn't be difficult even if it was busy. Also good service from friendly staff.
