★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice sized tesco lotus but once again this area is not very friendly to foreigners. Especially if you don't speak thai fluently, even basic thai will not be enough to break the language barrier. TO put it in perspective, there are armed guards here who protect trollies and also clients who shop more than a few handbags who escort you to your car or taxi and help load your goods. If you just got to bangkok and need to do a big haul- go to the one in the city next to Central.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tesco is a great place to get good deals on cleaning supplies and other home necessities. The store is always busy on the weekends but they have a lot of till opens to accommodate the rush. There is not a lot of parking available at this branch though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The selection aren't as wide as larger Lotus's locations. And the overall store feels a bit smaller than other locations.
The cashiers are very small & cramped, and doesn't have automatic conveyor belt so you have to manually push your items forward with your hand (but the cashier counter itself is *super* short anyway)
Combine this with Lotus's pivot to primarily part-time student cashier with only a few adult manning the cashier, (this issue is much more apparent at this location), it makes for a worse experience.
And no, there's no self checkout kiosk here.
The fast small-order lane is also pretty much closed all the time.
It's hard to find a car parking spot - though there are parking area specific to bikes.
The rooftop parking at the back of the main store building is always empty though. Not recommended if you're having a cartful of goods since the elevator is pretty small.
Parking here is metered, but the first hour or so is free.
The local's shops on the side path from the main store building to the parking on the back is pretty dirty and unorganized.
Look closely when buying fresh produce, fruits and other fresh food products especially grapes: I've seen so many times where poor kids from nearby slums open packages and pick some to eat with my own eyes. It's their habit now.
They may also come and beg for money, which despite what they act and say, are going to be used on the game arcades.
They come from nearby slums. Parents pretty much dropped them off here unattended. Don't give them money, it will encourage bad behavior.
Sorry if these sounds harsh on them but it's just raw truth and bad parenting. This issue went on for years ignored.
As a local here, if you're not in a hurry, and have some free time, I'd suggest you try a larger Lotus's location.
Ramindra one is better in every way, except that they don't have the kid's zone+the arcades. The difference is like heaven and hell.
If you still have to visit this location, avoid peak hours - the cashier is an absolute nightmare and not all lanes are open.
