★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap entrance fee. Animals live in very poor condition. Has a tiger, 2 bears, chimpanzees, snakes, monkeys and a playground. Not very big zoo. Can be walked in 1-2 hours. Sometimes a bit difficult to find a toilet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The area is great but the place is not in good maintenance (old rusty cage). There are big beautiful & elegant animals such as tigers, bear, orangutan, ostrich. Many fowls and chicks are cute. Not many animals as expected and most of them are not well-fed (some of them rushed to the tourist for food). Anyway, still one of good choice for children and family activities near BKK.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mid-sized zoo, but has lost money over the years and you can tell. Animal enclosures are small and many cages are empty. The price is right though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The animals in the zoo living in extremely small cages behind fences so nobody can see how they are kept when they aren't in their cherish. All apes had no access to water. That's just animal cruelty and nobody should support that zoo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw a bear, who had lost it's mind, destroy its own nose by pacing against the wall again, and again.. and again.
Most cages are so small, dull and rusty, that it's a crime. Many animals are completely insane, from the lack of positive stimuli.
Only snakes and turtles seem to "thrive".
